Let them scribble and doodle
Don't restrain your child from drawing and writing in whichever way they want. Even if they don't write their 'p's and 'd's exactly like your expect them to, or even if they draw the leaves on the root of a tree don't panic! Eventually they will get it right. Initially it is better to just let them do it the way they want it. That will help them develop a natural interest in doing those things.

Ample motivation
You should never overburden or force your child with anything. Be the support system that gives them the space to explore themselves. Don't expect every child to be the same and make the same advancement through each phase. But if the child make an attempt at writing or drawing or speaking, appreciate him. Give him confidence to do more of it.

Starting from toddler days if you try a constant method for development of your child speaking, writing, reading and creative skills it is going to be a lot easier. Let them speak scribble and doodle all that they want to and grow up into educated, spirited and intelligent individuals.........
